How does NewAtik work?
For the Seller
Step 1 - Sign Up & Create Your Account
- To buy or sell, you need to have an account.
Step 2 - Post an Item
- Upload clear photos (at least 3) showing the item from different angles.
- Write a short title (4–5 words) and a detailed description.
- Set your price and choose whether you offer:
- Pick-up only
- Shipping only
- Or both options
Step 3 - Listing Goes Live
- Once submitted, your listing will go live after admin approval. It usually takes up to 24h.
- Buyers browsing the marketplace will be able to view your item, location (approximate), and contact you through our internal messaging tool.
Step 4 - Once your Item Has Been Sold
- When a buyer places an order, they choose either (depending on what you offered):
- Pick-up: they will come to collect the item
- Shipping: Through AnyVan
The Logistics
Pick-ups:
- After payment, the buyer receives the full address via email.
- You agree on a time and date via Newatik’s internal chat.
- The platform holds the funds securely until the exchange is complete.
AnyVan:
- Need assistance? AnyVan is here for you.
- It works exactly the same, except that someone is doing the hard work for you.
- The buyer chooses the delivery date.
- The seller simply prepares the item for handover.
- The platform holds the funds securely until the exchange is complete and confirmed.
Step 5 - Payment is Released
- Once the item is successfully picked up and delivered, payment is released to the seller.
- All payments are processed securely via Stripe.
- The money will be deposited within 5 working days into your account.
For the Buyer
Step 1 - Sign-up & create an account

Step 2 - Browse through the listings
- You will be able to scroll through all different categories and buy from a large range of goods.
Step 3 - Delivery Methods
- The seller decides wether they offer:
- Pick-up only
- Shipping only
- Or both options
The Logistics
Pick-ups:
- The listing will display an approximate location to help the buyer assess logistics.
- Once the purchase is confirmed, the full address is shared via email.
- Both parties can coordinate the collection time and date using Newatik’s internal messaging tool.
AnyVan:
- Need assistance? AnyVan is here for you.
- It works exactly the same, except that someone is doing the hard work for you.
- The seller simply prepares the item for handover.
- On the item page, simply click “Get a quote” to view the delivery cost.
- The seller prepares the item, and AnyVan handles the collection and delivery.
- Please do not book same day delivery and allow a minimum of 2 working days to allow the seller to pack the items.
The Payment Process
- During the entire process, the money is kept safe by NewAtik.
- Once the item is successfully picked up and delivered, payment is released to the seller.
- All payments are processed securely via Stripe.
- You can pay with a credit card.
